MCA Company Name Rules & Guidelines
Unique and distinctive
Must not be identical or similar to existing registered companies.
Not misleading
Cannot suggest a different type of business than what is proposed.
No restricted words
Words like "bank", "insurance", "stock exchange" need prior approval.
End with "Private Limited"
For Pvt Ltd companies. For LLP it must end with "LLP".
No trademark violation
Should not infringe any registered trademark (check IP India portal).
Minimum 2 words preferred
Single-word names have higher rejection rate at MCA.
